Just wanted to fill everyone in on My Daughter's Birthday, LOL She was born on October 4th, 2007 at 1:39 AM. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 2 oz., and is 20.5 in. long.

Her Name is Allison Julia-Ann, and she is a beauty, if I say so myself! My wife is doing great, she had to have a C-section, so we are going to be having an extended stay at the hospital till next week sometime. Allison is healthy, born with 10/10, and and a nice rosy/pinkish color!

I am camping out at the Hospital, hope to talk to you all soon, I've been very busy these days. Miss browsing the forums, its been a while.

To all my friends at WC, just wanted to let you know that I will be going in tomorrow morning for double knee surgery, so wish me luck! This past year has not been too kind to me, with all the health problems that I have had, only had the time to release one skin. Terrible! Hopefully things will get better and I can get back to the business at hand, making skins. I am looking forward to everything going well, so I can get back to reading you all on the forums. Skinartistry is going to be having a screenshot contest from March 23rd, 2007 through March 31st, 2007. The rules are relatively simple, and everyone is encouraged to participate.

1. You can only use downloads from Skinartistry.com to make your screenshot.
2. You may only submit three (3) different screenshots to the contest.
3. You can only submit screenshots from 12:01 AM EST the 23rd, through 11:59 PM EST the 31st of March 2007, at the Contest Site
4. You must be a member of Skinartistry.com to participate.

There are three (3) prizes available for this contest.

1st Prize: $100.00 and 1 Premium skin of choice at SA.
2nd Prize: $50.00 and 1 Premium skin of choice at SA.
3rd Prize: $25.00 and 1 Premium skin of choice at SA.

There will be no multiple winners, so everyone gets a chance at winning. And this contest is open to anyone whether you can skin or not. No Admins or family members of Admins from Skinartistry are allowed to participate.

The way winners will be selected is as follows:

1. Members of Skinartistry will rate each Screenshot.
2. Admins will select the Six (6) highest rated Screenshots.
3. Members and Admins will vote on the Six (6) finalists in a poll, and the top Three (3)Screenshots will win by vote totals. This way there can be no way to cheat the system. And the poll will use IP addresses to ensure that there are no multiple votes from any one member.

You may have heard about this already, but we have a new workshop section of Skinartistry. So far we are doing pretty good with submissions. We hope to have in the very near future, help from some of you oldtimers in the skinning community. What we are going to be looking for is some to join the site and participate as reviewers for uploads that will be submitted by newcomers to skinning. This site is for everyobdy, old skinners, new skinners, and anybody in between!

Also the commitment that were are asking for isn't going to be too time consuming either, just do what you can. I have been reading the fourms, and this is what people want, and need. There are plenty of new skinners out there that are asking for help, so lets as a community, give it to them. The workshop site is devoted to helping people, and we have a basic, no frills site all set up and ready to go. So expect some great things in the future!

We currently have four categories available right now and there are:
Windowblinds
Wallpapers
Cursors
Icons

So if you have a great deal of experience with these categories, please stop by and offer your services, if you have any spare time. And if you want to upload your skinning project, we will be happy to help you in any way we can. We will also be adding categories as people become available to help out with them in the future. So I won't bore you with all the little details, but come aroud and say hi at least, to see whats going on.

Okay folks here is the deal, I was trying to give one away the other day, and decided on sponsoring the next contest.
